Loddon Shire Council is developing a new place brand that authentically represents our region to attract investment and new residents.

The place brand will serve as a unifying identity that:

  • Supports economic development and population growth
  • Facilitates investment and external funding opportunities
  • Builds community pride across diverse townships (Boort, Pyramid Hill, Wedderburn, Inglewood, Tarnagulla, Newbridge and all surrounding districts and communities)
  • Increases tourism visitation and awareness
  • Provides a cohesive narrative for regional advocacy and government relations

Where we are now?

We have completed:

  • Strategic analysis of Loddon's economic and social context
  • A community listening tour across the shire in 2025
  • Initial stakeholder consultation with residents, business owners, and community leaders
  • Development of strategic positioning and initial creative concepts

We are now at the design review stage, with two proposed creative directions that express the strategic platform.

A survey was conducted in early 2026, which has now closed. However, there will be a further opportunity to have your say - stay tuned for more information.
